Data Deletion

Learn how to delete your data from Goshuin Atlas and manage your privacy preferences.

Local Data (On Your Device)

Your goshuin collection, favorite temples, and personal notes are stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData. This data never leaves your device.

How to Delete Local Data

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Navigate to General → iPhone Storage → Goshuin Atlas
  3. Tap "Delete App" to remove all app data

Alternatively, you can press and hold the app icon on your home screen and select "Remove App" → "Delete App"

Delete Your Account

If you have a Goshuin Atlas account and want to permanently delete it along with all associated data, you can do so directly from the app.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open the Goshuin Atlas app on your iPhone
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Tap on Account
  4. Tap "Delete Account" and confirm your choice

Warning: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your account data will be permanently deleted.

Request Data Deletion

If you believe we have any data associated with you and would like it deleted, please contact us. We will process your request within 30 days.

Please include in your request:

  • Your email address (if you've contacted us before)
  • Description of the data you'd like deleted
  • Any additional details that may help identify your data
