How do I add a new Goshuin to my collection?

Navigate to the temple's page, tap on the "Goshuin" section, and then tap the "+" icon or "Add Goshuin" button. You can then fill in the details and optionally add a photo.

Is my data backed up?

All your Goshuin Atlas data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. To back up your data, please ensure your device is regularly backed up via iCloud or to your computer using Finder/iTunes. Goshuin Atlas itself does not store your data on our servers.

How can I find temples near me?

On the main map screen, ensure your location services are enabled for Goshuin Atlas. Tap the "nearby" or "locate me" icon, and the map will center on your current location, showing nearby temples and shrines.

Can I use the app offline?

Yes, Goshuin Atlas is designed to work offline. Core temple data is stored locally. Map tiles for areas you've previously viewed may be cached. However, real-time features like getting new directions or searching for unvisited map areas will require an internet connection.
